We did it!

We made it onto the November ballot!  THANK YOU to all that were able to join us yesterday at the LA County Board of Supervisors meeting!

Meeting Recap: The Board of Supervisors voted to place the LA County Parks Measure on the November ballot. Our Supervisors heard from advocates from all over the county were there to show support how our parks and open spaces continue to:

  • Protect clean water resources, including rivers and creeks
  • Reduce gang activity and provide safe places to play
  • Ensure drinking water is safe at park and recreation centers
  • Remove asbestos, mold and lead paint from aging recreation centers
  • Protect and preserve parks and natural areas
  • Keep beaches open, clean and safe
  • Supports funding for high need areas
