Join us tomorrow!

#OurParks will be joining Supervisor Hilda Solis at a victory media conference this Wednesday to celebrate the passage of Measure A and funding for safe, clean neighborhood parks and open space for all – please join us there! Stop by to applaud parks, hear how the measure will affect you, and what this means for our open spaces, parks, beaches, and trails throughout LA County.

Wednesday, November 16
10:30 AM
Ruben Salazar Park
3864 Whittier Boulevard, LA, CA 90023

Yay for A and thank you!

Alley oop! It’s a resounding yes for parks!

Yesterday the Safe, Clean Neighborhood Parks and Open Space Measure (Measure A) passed spectacularly with over 73% of the vote, well over the 2/3 majority needed! Voters showed that parks are a priority. This is a historic moment – with this measure LA County will have a permanent source of funding for parks and green space tied to ensuring access for all communities. We couldn’t have made it here without you, so thank you deeply for all your support and everything you have done to bring this past the finish line successfully.

Moving forward, keep a look out for next steps on implementing the measure coming from the Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space District here.
