Join us Monday morning with Mayor Garcetti

The Yes on Prop 68 campaign is hosting a press conference, headlined by Mayor Eric Garcetti to increase awareness and support for this important measure. I hope you can join us and a number of Los Angeles leaders at this important event to demonstrate strong LA support for Prop 68! See below information:

WHAT: Yes on Prop 68 Press Conference
WHEN: Monday, May 21st 9-10 a.m.
WHERE: State Historic Park – 1245 N. Spring Street, Los Angeles
WHO: Mayor Eric Garcetti and other Los Angeles Leaders

Mayor Eric Garcetti and local leaders will lead a press conference announcing major new support for Proposition 68 and highlighting how Los Angeles will specifically benefit from the $4.1 billion bond measure that Californians will vote on this June.

Under Prop. 68 the Los Angeles area would receive more than $140 million, including significant funding for the protection and restoration of the Los Angeles River – a cause the Mayor has championed. The measure also directly addresses the need to bring parks and green spaces to L.A.’s underserved families, ensure all communities have access to clean drinking water and better prepare California to weather the impacts of climate change.

We hope to see you there!

Volunteer to help Prop 68

We’re less than 3 weeks away from the election, and absentee ballots are already starting to arrive in peoples’ mailboxes. So we’re stepping up our efforts, and joining with several other organizations to hold phone banking & texting events in LA County.

Please join us for an event near you to help reach and persuade voters to vote for Prop 68. You’re also invited to the Peoples’ Party at Audubon Center at Debs Park on May 31st at 6pm after the volunteer phone banking session. Join us for food, music and great company in one of Los Angeles’ hidden gems, Ernest E. Debs Park.
